It’s that time of year again! In collaboration with Open Farms, we’re hosting the 2025 Open Farms Day at Mangaroa 🎪

Our last event in November 2024 was our biggest yet with over 1,000 people coming down - and this time, we’re looking to break that record.

Open Day Activities will include:
- Local Mangaroa Lunch (eftpos or cash available)
- Mangaroa Farms will be putting together a lunch including their famous smoked lamb buns topped with Mesclun salad (straight from the gardens) and Mangaroa beef / lamb sausages on the BBQ. Vegetarian options will also available.
- Live music & good vibes
- Our signature garden tours (10am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm and will cost $15 per person) – book your spot ahead of time via https://mangaroa.org/upcoming-events/open-day-2025 or use the website link below. These signature garden tour tickets sell out quickly, so be sure to grab your spot!).
- Kids Zone with face paint & craft activities
- Local vendors & marketplace
- Coffee cart
- Sheep dog & shearing demonstrations
- Self-guided farm trail loop
- The Mangaroa Farm Shop will be open as normal from 9am - 5pm, featuring fresh produce from the gardens, meat from our pastures, and a range of local suppliers & our latest merchandise.

Show up for lunch and a tour, or just pop in to see the stalls, do a little shop, and enjoy some live music with the whānau.

We look forward to sharing the Mangaroa Farms gardens, kai, community & trails with you.
