We are a diverse regeneratively run farm that is developing a local food hub to enable people to access nutrient dense, ecologically produced food.
The farm is structured as a not-for-profit within the Biome Trust, a parent charitable trust. With a focus on health, the environment and education we are taking a soils first approach as we explore ways to grow food and fibre as we deepen our relationship to the land that supports us.
We currently produce sheep and beef as well as fresh eggs and the heart of our farm is our market garden. In the last few years we have done extensive native plantings along the Mangaroa River that winds through this 2000 acre living laboratory.
Come and join us at our open day! You can arrive at any time and do a self-guided tour, or plan to attend a tour of our market garden at the below times. Tours for the garden are limited to 30 people per tour and will be on a first in first serve basis.
- 10am - 10:45am
- 11am - 11:45am

There will also be a felting demonstration, sheep and cattle to view in the yards and games and activities for the kids. You are also welcome to explore the farm, river and our recent native planting on our 3.5km self-guided walk. Please bring sturdy footwear as there are a couple of hills to cover!
