Te Hua Farm/Little Farm Goat Dairy
Event Description

We are the smallest commercial dairy in New Zealand.

We milk mostly Toggenburg goats, an heritage Swiss breed, and the oldest registered dairy goat breed in the world. They make excellent milk for cheesemaking, which is what we do with their beautiful milk!

At our Open Farm day you will visit with the does and goatlings (the kids will be about 5 months old in March), taste some cheese, and have a peek into our tiny cheese kitchen.

You might even be able to meet one of the herd sires if they're not too pongy on the day (they are very friendly).
